If a pub is linked with Connacht Rugby/The Clan in some way, either via free pints or sponsorship then we need to give them enough custom to make it worth their while to show the games. If enough people show up, they'll do it.
Having said that, the pubs that didn't show the match should be named so we know where to spend our money.

when we were playing our home games in the heineken cup we all seen pubs all over the place with one or rwo of our flags hanging outside advertising the game and deals ie dinner and pints €14 etc. pubs that never in there life showed connacht match's.
from reading facebook, twitter and seeing elsewhere i heard from plenty of people that these same pubs refused to show our match this weekend vs glasgow and only had interested in munster vs ulster.
i know both gaames were not the best to look at but if they want supporting us they shouldnt jump to show munster.
connacht rugby should have some kinda copy right over pubs where they would choice if they pass to advertise big games with deals etc..

Not too sure if this is the right place to put this, but a small piece about the drinks licence at the sportsground for tonight's game:
The Irish Times - Friday, September 23, 2011
Drinks licence granted for rugby game at Galway sports venue
Rugby fans will be able to drink beer in Galway city this evening thanks to the last-minute granting of a drinks licence in court yesterday. The beer taps will be flowing and other drinks will be available to supporters attending the rugby game between Connacht and Newport Gwent Dragons at the Galway Sportsground this evening, after a licence was granted at Clifden District Court.
Judge Mary Fahy told solicitor Anita Moran she “was cutting it a bit fine†when she applied for the occasional licence to be granted to Kevin Healy of the RóisÃn Dubh, Dominick Street, for Connacht Rugby at the sports ground.
Ms Moran said there would be further applications for a licence between now and January when Connacht played in the RaboDirect Pro12 league and the Heineken Cup.
Garda Supt Tony O’Donnell said there was no Garda objection to the granting of the occasional licence at Connacht Rugby. The licence allows for alcohol to be served at the sportsground from 5pm-10pm today.
I had heard the "dog people" had tried to throw a spanner in the works in relation to Connacht having their own bar alright - I suspect this is related. Anyway, all's well that end's with beer (or something like that).

Great idea lads. I will definitely bring it up with them.No problem with that at all. BB is a great bar. By far my favourite of the super pubs.
Been in a few bars in Dublin after Internationals that do this. And it is great. Really clears up instances in the game for you.

Lads... I have a request though... Can ye try to make it to Buskers after the match as well? They are supporting us, so let's try and support them as well. If they get no benefit out of the deal we won't get them back on-board next year.
We're most visible after the Connacht matches so maybe end the night there. There's always a decent crowd in there and it's a late bar.

diom, i wonder could they sky+ the game and then play it on there tv maybe 40mins after full time. I always want to watch games that im at but cant be arsed with the laptop and dont have sky+
