From twitter, just thought it was a nice contrast from everyone assuming (myself included) that the game today was a waste of time.

He's an Irish Exile (Played Irish Club U-18's last season), he came over pre-season to try for an academy place - www.getreading.co.uk/sport/rugby/london_...sh_apprentice_scheme
He went to St. Paul's College, (which is in Sunbury right beside the London Irish ground) a specialist Sports College which is a big feeder for London Irish as they run London Irish's – Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) Scheme which is not the standard school curriculum.
St Pauls don't participate in the Daily Mail Schools Cups as they are specialist school preparing players for the Professional game. They are one of twelve English Schools funded by the RFU afilliated to Premiership Clubs that play in a seperate League Competition - www.rfu.com/TakingPart/CareersInRugby/Programmes/AASE.aspx

Sub academy. Arrived from London Irish at the start of the summer and has been training with the academy since. Highly thought of I'd imagine because he's trained with the 1st team a few times

Would be better off playing an AIL team
Going by that scoreline I'd have to agree, they'd probably have learned more and saved a few euro from playing a game against one of the AIL sides. I suppose we have to go through these series of games to show we will be ready for B&I Cup next season, couple of interpros against Ulster and Leinster to follow some time in the new year afaik which should give us some competitive games.

I'm sure it felt nice for the lads to clear the cobwebs and just run loose, but guys who are expected to challenge for senior spots will have proved nothing.
I know it'll have been nice after the thumping by Saracens, but a bit of a demonstration game in the end.

The page for the 'A' game in Italy last month still says "full report to follow", so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
