I was impressed with Henry the most i have to say, i was under the impression he was a one forward gear and no steering tpye of centre but he far from it, ran some great lines and a brilliant off load for McCrea to score
Indeed...Henry is a brilliant ball carrier. Not a bad tackler, either. A great addition to our side.

Edinburgh were within striking distance of Cardiff for the majority of the first match, got a bit overrun in the final quarter. Their result away to Ospreys was a step forward for them I'd imagine.
Hopefully we can edge it and keep the momentum going.

Hopefully he can stay injury free, and his form keeps improving.

I like the look of McCrea as well, took a nice line to receive the ball from Henry on sat and looked eager to get his hands on the ball.
I know we lost some big guys last season but the new boys seem to have settled in well with the other lads and there seems to be a good attitute about the place.
Couldn't agree more - I actually forgot to mention McCrea, but he impressed me also. My main concern at the moment is at 10 - I thought Jarvis was ok with ball in hand, but his kicking out of hand and place kicking looked poor. His restarts were far too low also, giving our lads no chance to compete.

This weekend could be very interesting coming up against Bradley, I dont know how much of an insight he will have in to the way we will play since there have been so many changes since he left.

I'd add Tiernan to the list of runners - he looked good every time he got the ball on Saturday IMO.
Ahhh, finally found the quote button.
I'd list O'Halloran as a different style of runner. One more likely to do immediate damage. The big lads look to run into tackles, and take in extra defenders, all while maintaining possession, and hopefully providing us with extra men out wide.
O'Halloran looks very fast, and comfortable. He's trying to break the line, and head for empty space.
He really has impressed me this season. Doesn't look out of his depth at all

We have a terrible record in Edinburgh, but if we stick to plan of letting Henry, George and Rodney run with the ball, we could be ok.
Just dont let George kick it :'(

This league is the hardest in Europe in which to win away, and our away form is historically abysmal. But this really is a "New Connacht". A poor-ish performance of our own wasn't enough to stop us getting the win against Scarlets, we've already won away this year against a usually fierce Treviso.
A better all round performance is needed, but if Edinburgh play as they did at the weekend then an LBP will probably be about as good a result as we can expect. But as we saw against Scarlets, with some self belief and a take-no-poop attitude when falling behind we can get ourselves within a score and then it's anybodies game.
