By the way, that upgrade seems to have fixed the "Report to moderator" link, which was broken for a while, so you can use that again if there are any issues with a post, etc.

If you have your Preferences/Forum Settings to view Last Post First, then it isn't even required.
Would only be an issue then for those that don't frequent the site often enough and have to scroll back through loads of thread pages (the fools)....:whistle:

Still no joy on the p0kery issue.

Did an upgrade to the forum software there, which overwrote the changes I made to highlight the members in green, etc.
I'll add those changes back in in the next couple of days. In the meantime, everything else should work fine.

Not sure if I did something wrong. Using Chrome on windows.

I noticed that PMs were even harder to spot since the upgrade so I enabled a couple of things.
You should now see a Settings option at the bottom of the Private Messages screen.
That will give you two options - one to get email alerts when you get a PM and the other to get a popup message on screen when you are logged in. They are both turned off by default but feel free to enable them if you don't want to miss a message.

Yeah, I think it might just be down to choice of colour - I more or less just threw a dart at the green area of the pallette and that's what came up. Was thinking I might change it to something less mucous-reminiscent. It could probably be a few shades lighter.

That should default to unchecked now.
To unsubscribe from an individual topic there is an option in the "Actions" dropdown.

Yeah the default setting on the site is that when you reply to a thread it subscribes you to the thread and you receive a message for any new post.

You can stop this by going into your Profile (little green person icon on the right of the forum menu bar) and Preferences then Forum Settings.

Change the Select subscription as default setting to No .

If you then click on the Profile link on the Forum Menu, you can see any threads you are Subscribed to and select the ones you want to un-subscribe from...

Pinky was going to look to see if there is way to change the global default for Thread subscriptions to no...

Or you could provide more useful details, like what browser you're using and if you use different browsers for mobile/PC do you see same issues. Not every issue is site related, a lot are browser choice or device dependent...

Remember also this site/forum is supported by volunteers giving up heir own time, so give as much detail (Inc images) if you have an issue, there's no test lab to trial out reported issues so you need to be as clear about the issue as possible....
