Fair point on mMcCartney, he's been extremely consistent, but for injury he'd definitely be in the running, I'll add him in.

Since there doesn't seem to be any major objections to those lists so I'll get them up in the members section now and open the voting.

Wish there was a third award for Muldoon. I wouldn't necessarily say he was the player of the year but with his level of consistency he's the rock the season's been built on.

Bundee has certainly been good all season, but feel he just might be stealing this fight with his late round heroics. Sure haven't there been stretches of the season where Healy was outstanding or Muldowney, especially early, seemed to be pulling the team along? Very tough calls for both awards.

Would also add that McCartney is a bit of an unsung hero this season.

I'm thinking John POTS and Finlay YPOTS

Fox and Eoghan were both well on their way to getting POTS before doing in there ACLs and missing big chunk

Aki , Buckley, Aly, TOH and ofcourse Dillane all having mammoth seasons aswell
Who ever wins it will have earned it anyhow

Muldoon has been outstanding this year, mr consistency if ever there was, nothing flash but the level of his performances has lifted to a new standard this year.

Niyi, Robb, Connolly, AJ, Jack Carty would all deserve a mention too.

Marmion and Buckley have been outstanding again this year, but we expect them to be!

Connachta put up the league minutes stats somewhere last week and Bundee was several hundred minutes ahead of everyone else (he's only been subbed off once or twice so has been binned for longer than he's been rested). And as you say, Finlay has appeared in every single game both league and in Europe. Honourable mentions fo Dillane and Mul, but I know where my votes are going.
