Of course you don't need any app at all but if you download the one they use in shops/restaurants etc. in Italy you can check beforehand if your QR code is accepted in that specific setting. In Italy we are masters at making things confused so we have different types of covid QR codes.
Once you launch the app there are 4 options to choose from to check your own QR code, and to eat in a restaurant you'd need to get a valid result when you scan it after choosing the "Rafforzata" option. To enter the country they would scan through a different option, which is "Ingresso IT". That's why you may have a valid QR code for flying in but an invalid one to eat in a restaurant.
Eventually, I suggest ye to give it a go on this test app, just to be on the safe side.

Bring that, a photo ID and an FFP2 mask with you everywhere and you'll be grand.

I am double vaxed (over 9 months ago), not boosted but I have a covid recovery cert from within 6 months.
Can I eat inside in a bar or restaurant with my recovery cert? I have been Googling and I have read some conflicting information regarding green certs and super green certs etc.
If someone who travelled to the game could clarify it for me, I'd be grateful.
From what I remember, The recovery certs are valid up to 180 days in Italy. Over the weekend Italy relaxed some of their rules. We had no issues with our passes working on the Irish covid app, FP2 Masks were required for travelling.

for eating in a table outside you won't need any "green pass", as we call it here in Italy. However, when eating or drinking inside they will normally check your green pass QR through an app you can also download yourself, to check the validity of your cert, as long as it has a QR code in it. It is called "VerificaC19" and you'll find it on the app stores. Anyway with your 2 jabs + recovery you should be allowed to dine in. To get a QR code to prove it would definitely ease up the process as you'd just check "valid" on the aforementioned app without having to explain all the story to the waiter.
Hope this helps!
See ye next year at The Sportsground!

Great value tickets but man they really make you work for them. At least I know my Italian Tax Designation now. I thought for a while they'd make me draw my own QR code.

I got Row A, 30 & 31.
But looking at the weather forecast I'm now wishing that we were further back, under the roof of the stand!
50% chance of rain Saturday in Treviso.

Until 31 March 2022, for shows open to the public that take place indoors or outdoors, in theatres, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment and live music venues and other assimilated premises, as well as for competitions and sporting events that take place indoors or outdoors, it is compulsory to wear FFP2 type respiratory protective devices (masks).
So looks like we won't need one of those at the match, but it doesn't say what the rules are for April so probably best to keep an FFP2 handy. They also seem to be required for the planes and airports anyway.

Unlike the Irish one (no longer required), it doesn't seem to be the kind of thing you can fill in in a panic at the airport, but also it doesn't seem to have the nonsensical rule about not filling it in more than 72 hours in advance, so maybe best to get started
And stealing data from friendly fellow passengers?

For any Treviso newbies, you get the no9 bus out to the ground. You can buy tickets in the "Tabac" next door to the Celtic Pub (does close for a long Italian lunch, so note opening times!)

There used to be a stop outside the Celtic Pub, but the route has changed slightly. Nearest stop to the Continental and Carlton hotels seems to be Viale Bandiera and you get off at Emilia Bar Rok or Naz Unite Biv. v Germania.
