You're right of course; they are both no longer Connacht players. But they still are connected to many of our current players and us from their time in Galway.

There’s a lot of banter between the players/former colleagues and it’s all very good natured. Fionn Carr in particular get’s a lot of flack from the players about how interesting his posts are #fionnstweets, and there was a lot of inter-county banter during the All Ireland Championships naturally which is nice to se form a supporters point of view….

From a promotional side (@connachtclan) they both have lots of Connacht followers, and it's a very good way to piggy back their popularity to build your own audience....

We're all brand ambassadors for Connacht basically; and trending is the key to our success
