I saw the picture with this article:
www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/sport/2011/1115/1224307581884.html
Does this indicate that we will not be wearing green on saturday? Do home sides not get to wear their own jerseys?
IMO if the whole sportsground will be as green as possible and the team are wearing purple jerseys it'll be odd.

Lads, how about start in Buskers and work our way up to the ground? Walk the entire Green Mile and take in the matchday atmosphere?

I know some people aren't too happy with singing The Fields, but I thought it sounded great on Friday, and I'm up for singing again.

We should try to organise us all going for the same section in the Clan Stand. People might by shy, and only feeling like singing, if someone else starts it.

If we had a large group of us together around the half way line, and we got songs started, it will spread through out the Clan.
What do people think?

With you on this all the way cows, I'll be around there and will certainly lend my voice

Lets move past the dissapointment of Friday night, and start preparing for this weeks huge game.

I got two tickets for myself and my girlfriend. Going to be in the Clan Terrace.
Hoping to get into town for around 4. Head to O'Connells for a few pints, and head up to the Sportsground for around 5/5:15

We need to get the singing started early. If we can go someway to replicating the atmosphere in the North Stand of The Stoop, we'll do great.

Come on Connacht, Moooo

AFAIK if your missus or yourself are season ticket holders then only STH can go to the clan terrace.
I called the branch as I wanted my missus to go with me also and the said she could go but she wont be in the clan terrace with me,-_-s I know as the extra ticket I was issued was for the bohermore terrace!

O'Connells is always good, but way too busy. I'd like to be somewhere in Eyre Square, perhaps the bar below the Merrick, or even the Skeff. Big open bars, where we can get drinks and it could be good if a big group left the pubs together, and walked up to the Ground

Are there plans for events in the morning/afternoon? I plan to get to Galway by 12 to soak up the atmosphere and generally chill out beforehand.

If there's a clan beverage sesh prior to kick-off it'd be great to put names to faces.

And cut out the penalties in kickable areas of the pitch!

I hope the lads learned from the 'Quins game that greater possession = fewer tackles required. Play the entire game as they did the 2nd half Friday and i like their chances against Toulouse.

Ridiculously excited as well.

My main concern is that the lads gave every single ounce they could on Friday night, and wont be fully recovered in time for the game on Saturday. Hopefully 8 days rest will be enough.

Really hope we start with the same team as on Friday. If Ofisa is still out, I think TJ Anderson will do a fine job. Impressed with the job he's been doing for the most part.

Hopefully all the fans who were singing in the Stoop, can find their voices on Saturday too

Planning to be there by 4:30pm at the latest. Ridiculously excited already!

I really think we can do this. Toulouse weren't that impressive yesterday against Gloucester and the lads will have even more belief in themselves after their brilliant performance on Friday.

Bring on the frenchies! :woohoo:
