Delighted with the preformance of the lads, annoyed at the result. Thought we played better on the night, seemed more confident etc. Defence was really excellent, but in those brief periods when we broke down they were able to capatalise. We made 176 tackles to their 67 (!!) and missed 15 to their 16. That's some stat.
Thought Munster were overall quite poor, seemed unfocused etc. Maybe the emotions of the night negatively impacted them, who knows? They got the win, fair play to them for that, but Connacht should be happier with their performance. And Jack outclassed Carbery all over the pitch. Wonder who will get a call up first?
No problems with our try being disallowed, but Munsters try was clearly offside. No two ways about it. How the officials (TMO, three on field officials) all missed it is entirely shocking. Although I don't think SA's yellow was deserved, I don't have too much in the way of complaint. Did either of those decisions cost us the win? I don't think so, but it's clearly a problem.

Well we kept the scoreline tight.

Given the day that's in it, you have to reckon emotions are going to be high. Going to be a tough day for our lads, I'd reckon.

Munster are looking very very good at the moment. Hopefully we can keep the scoreline tight.
Not sure why Fifita has been left out of the matchday team in favour of a 6th back row...
