If we have to sit, yes, we're definitely better in a big group. Would much prefer to be standing though.
From what I remember of the Munster game (most of the first half) it was great fun

For sure standing is much better, but unlike Thomand & Musgrave, the RDS has only one permanent structure (Anglesea) and it wouldn't have made sense to put in permanent terracs as it's a flexible space (Horse Show, Concerts etc). I do like the structure that they put in place for the Grandstand though, that's one helluva temporary stand... ???

I've been in the North Stand and the Anglesea Stand before. Both were good craic.

Anglsea Stand is charming but pretty pre-historic and makes Sportsground look State of the Art, always reminds me of the old East Stand/Terrace at Lansdowne Road before it was replaced in the late 1980's..

It would be great to get terrace tickets for this match as I HATE sitting at rugby matches

Won't happen sadly, there's only two small terraces at the RDS under the Anglesea Stand and its Leinster Season ticket holders only. Rest is seated only. But if you can get 200 supporters travelling up as a group or independently and get seated together it'll definately boost the team.

Ya agree with that. There was some amount off us in green down in limerick last season for the last game was surprised since nothing up for grabs but i guess the wheels were rolling for what we have now

Hey lads,

Yeah I agree that a bus and some organisation should be looked into. Breifne has already put out an email to committee members for ideas. :)

In the past the Branch hasn't requested blocks of tickets, perhaps if asked they might look at it if there's enough interest and people get organised early enough..

This game is Saturday the 8th, isn't it?  Either way, we'll be there with our green on to support our boys!

Oh yeah, Saturday the 8th. Seems I can't read a calendar anymore  ;)

Love going to this game each season. Would be great if there was a big collection of Connacht fans together at it.
Its a 5 o'clock kick off. Should try to get a big group together in Paddy Cullens beforehand, and all head into the ground together, and make some noise

This is where the Supporters Club should come into it's own, things like arranging ticket blocks for Conacht Supporters so that as many suporters as possible can be grouped close to each to maximise support, and making sure that Leinster/Dublin based supporters can get access to them too...

Also I know with the motorway that a lot of Galway /East Connacht support will drive, but a Coach could be looked at there might be a decent group of supporters who fancy a brew or to and want to leave the car behind...
