I can see how that would appeal to some people, yes.  It's always the fine line you walk between intelligent marketing strategy and going overboard with bragging on the opposing side's players.  I know our marketing guys & girls wouldn't want to sell our own talent short.

i think our marketing guys should be getting out the message that our game is the only chance to see bone fide world class players in galway on a regular basis (meaning the likes of o'driscoll and o'gara as well as the likes  of toulose and not forgetting swifty/ muldoon !etc etc), the point could be made that these are the equivalent of the likes of torres etc in soccer terms and toulose the equivalent of barcelona/ milan, 3000 can become 4000!
