Any announcement on the french european tv rights?
It was due this morning afaik and PRL/LNR rely on it heavily to bring pot to their predicted 72m and even the bottom line of 60m as 20m is guarenteed to pro 12.

What happens for the coming season? Does the Canal+ deal stand for one year?

Le Grande Kkkeerrchinnnnnggg.... :woohoo:

NRL will split the broadcasting rights like the Premier League did with Footie believing the cumalative value will rise exponentially no doubt...

Could kill the goose in the process...

Hold the cheque book!

"On Wednesday, Le Figaro claimed that the Competition Authority has decided to suspend the agreement between the National Rugby League and Canal + with regard to the allocation of television rights in the Top 14 for the coming five seasons. This decision follows a referral by BeIn Sports in March to challenge the conditions under which these rights were allocated.

A new procedure for the competition on the allocation of rights for the following seasons will be held no later than January 31, 2015"
