If Australia beat France (3 - 10 at half time) this evening, the Irish girls will be top seed for the SF's and would end up playing Canada.

If France win, our girls will finish as 2nd seeds and face England in the SF.

Watched the Kazak game. We weren't anywhere as cohesive as we were before but with 10 changes that was always going to happen. Here's hoping that the Women can go all the way and make the finals.

Great result today, especially for the 2 connacht girls, done the country proud.

Hopefully they can go all the way but that will be a tough task.

Fantastic result. Tuned in at 8-0 and thought it'd be a comfortable win for New Zealand. Ireland were heroic when the chips were down and that 2nd try was just fantastic followed up by the superb touchline conversion. It was great seeing the final phases when NZ could do nothing but great to see the ball being kicked out, was having a few flashbacks from the Aviva last November!

Claire Molloy and Alison Miller doing Connacht proud. I'd love to have Claire Molloy in the mens side, what a player, she gets through a serious amount of work.

They've shown the men how to do it but hopefully this isn't their world cup tonight, great chance now to top the pool and reach the semi-final, with NZ and USA beaten, Ireland should fear no-one, no doubt France and England are strong but Ireland have shown we can put it up to these teams and beat them.

The progress made in Irish women's rugby over the last decade or so is astounding, a decade or so ago one win would have been a good 6 nations. That mentality has changed totally and the future looks bright.

From the start have to say that I only watched the games to get over the rugby itch.
