He just said it wasn't the same intensity as a test match.
Wales online put their own spin on it - "pointed the finger of blame", etc.
Of course he is having a go. There are alot of people having a go at the Pro12. The only ones who seem to be happy with the Pro12 is Connacht.
"You have to remember that the lads coming from the Pro12, and it wasn’t a great year for the tournament with no Champions Cup quarter finalists, are coming from a standard of rugby where they are used to running 55 metres per minute and in a Test match they have to run 75-80m per minute."
That's a dig..... The lads in Edinburgh must have ran 100 metres a minute. Especially in the first half.
The stat on the distance run per minute interested me. I wonder if there is any way to get an accurate stat from the final?
The fact he had that stat ready to rhyme off speaks volumes. It means they are already making excuses for themselves, and their attitude is all wrong. As others have said - if the pro 12 standard is so low then they should be contending to win the thing. I don't fancy their chances against the all blacks.

Yep very much suits the Welsh Clubs agenda.
"It's not our fault, we really haven't mismanaged the regions since the advent of professionalism.
It's the Pro12's fault entirely... "

I think it's understood that that's the Pro12's fault too.
