i thought that was well played by cian, stopped a certain try. france missed there peno, ireland conceeded 0. lucky he didnt get a yellow but even if he did he stopped them getting a try. well done
I hope this is sarcasm. There is no way I would call that good play. It only worked out because we were very lucky in that Healy didn't get a yellow and parra missed the kick.
Anything that could potentially cost your team that much cannot be seen as good play. All teams need a bit of luck and we got it with that.

Got my original ones from ESPN but some one on twitter pointed out that they have since been updated for some reason.
Healy must come in for criticism also. As well as those stats he gave away the stupid penalty as a lazy runner. The Irish management team don't seem to feel that there is an alternative to him though which prevents pressure being put on him.
The reason I brought up to O'Callaghan stats is the fact that, although I was not a fan until recently, Donnacha Ryan has been putting his hand up. It has gone on too long where players in the system are relying on reputation. A prime example of this is the Denis Leamy 2 year central contract!

2 carries for 0 gain
8 tackles in whole game - 6th highest in the pack
This proves form is counting for nothing with selection. I would love to see McCarthy called up but feel it will be Tuohy.
Saw that as well, but I guess it depends on who you use as your stats provider. ESPN has the following for the pack
Healy 2 made / 1 missed
Best 7/0
Ross 8/3
DOC 8/0
POC 12/0
Fez 14/0
SOB 13/0
Heaslip 7/1
According to that he's tied 4th best with Ross, and no tackles missed compared to 3. If you want to moan about anyone it's Healy.

Jesus that's tough on PO'C after working his way back from the other injuries.
I can see Kidney going with the two Donncha's as starters, with Macca may taking Ryan's bench slot...
