Former Ulster Loose-head prop Paddy McAllister joins Gloucester from Aurillac. He's only 25 and so is beginning to come into his prime. Hopefully he does well there.

London Scottish have secured the services of Stade Francais youngster Peter Lydon on a one-year contract. Unusual move for him but I hope is a good move for him. He's young, IQ and an Out-half so someone we should be keeping an eye on.

Very disappointed by Birsh though

Birch is an odd one. Was mooted to be the next big thing for a long while at Ulster but never really made it. Think he was one of those guys who are tremendous at schools level but will only be average when they step up to full professional.

True didn't even watched the last quarter, it was game over... But Hircock did fairly well, especially a great line break.. really he could be the covering solution at 13 behind Henshaw/Poolman

They all played, and well. Huge gap between the teams, Rotherham has 2 men binned but Bedford were only hanging on.

Socino is a decent player alright. Was Birch, Scanlon or Keating playing?

Corey Hircock today on Sky for Bedford against Rottherham... n°13, a must-see for us (ex munster A for 3 years, 23 y.o)

He was let go by a Munster who are extremely fallow in that position. If he isn't good enough for them then I wouldn't be putting much hope on him.

Half watched this while making dinner. he wasn't up to much, bext player on show was Rotherham's goal-kicking Argentine 12 Juan Pablo Socino.

Rumours that Ulster props Paddy McAllister and Adam Macklin are off to the Championship next year with Rotherham being the main club linked with both. With the injuries they've both had it makes sense for them to leave and get some serious gametime if they want to kick on.

Doubt he'd leave for another province. A lot of the ulster boys prefer to go abroad with Rotherham always sniffing around. When Grenoble made an offer it must have being a very simple decision. A better quality level of rugby and more chance of gametime.
