Apparently Denis Leamy might be joining him in retirement. His hip injury isn't responding to treatment and if a specialist he is seeing isn't able to get it better he's gone. Allegedly it's the same type of injury that ending Ian Dowlings career.

sad to hear this but thanks for the Memories. Even Paul o Connell described him as the best Munster of the professional ere. Im not going to argue with that.

Another of the old Guard leaves the scene with David Wallace announcing his retirement today. That makes David Wallace, Jerry Flannery, Shane Horgan and Mick O'Driscoll gone this season with John Hayes at the start of it. Kidney must be shi**ing himself since he won't have any of his favorites left if this keeps going on but seriously fair play to David Wallace I thought he was a great player. Sean O'Brien has big boots to fill.
