There are 4 of us on the flight from Dublin to Carcassone and we are looking at our transport options to Toulouse and back.

Any word have any recommendations? Taxis seem expensive. The bus to Carcassone and a train seem the best option?

Any experienced travellers on this trip have any advice?

This was our route a few years back. We got a bus from the airport to Carcassonne train station (~15 mins if memory serves me right). Then a train from Carcassonne to Toulouse. I think the bus was about a fiver and the train around €25 return.

We are the same 4 of us on that flight. I've priced transfers and its €213 approx for mini bus that can take 4 to 8 people. So for the 4 in my group it's over €50. But we would be interested in a taxi share

Thanks Shane we have booked cat 10 porte 5 row 25 20 of us €23 a pop loud and proud all most welcome their looking for €60 a ticket good luck with that as regards Le Huit screw them if they dont have the manners to reply the Melting Pot will do us .....bring it on

Afraid its a no on both fronts Paul. We have had no contact with Le Huit regarding a pre-game meal. They've gone dark
Still trying to work with the Melting Pot as a HQ (meeting point) for the weekend.
Maybe another 10 pubs of Toulouse will be attempted

There's a few of us staying in the Crowne Plaza - stayed there before & it's nice & central. Team also stayed there last time over.

We are also interested in the bus. Taxi very expensive to get. But train is also an option. We are staying in the compans Caffarelli area. If that's any help.

Got my 5 tickets without any hassle. I'm sort of worried now becasue it was fairly straight forward and seeing the problems others had! In the next block over from the dugouts (€40.00 tickets) roughly in the try line area.

Used my Visa Debit, didn't have to fill out any of my address details or anything like that. Just asked for the card details and name on it. I had to create an account with them but again it didn't ask me for any address details other than my name and e-mail address.

I was having issues trying to get them last week aswel, and the only reason I can think of is that I was using a visa debit card because the first time I used mastercard it went straight through no problem!

I actually had to do the exact opposite it wouldn't accept my credit card and finally accepted the debit but only after refusing it a few times over the weekend. Lets just hope the toulouse attack is as stuttering as their website.

Finally managed to ge tthem sorted, (behind the right hand dug outs) 57 euro, after trying it on a PC and using the french version! Some craic!

We had issues trying to get tickets aswell, after several attempts on different days we finally got them. Don't know what the problem is.

Select tab, Mode a la place, above graphic of Seating Categories. You should be able to select the area of the stadium you want by clicking of the graphic of the stadium. Hope that makes sense.
