The ATC strike in Italy delayed the Ryanair flight and then the disruptions at Dublin Airport didn't help either.
Gutted, but we had a great weekend over there (excluding the match of course).
Met the regular Clan travelers and some new peeps as well.

It's safe to say at least we (the fans) put in a solid shift over in Treviso this weekend

Onwards now for the final push in the URC!!

There's still a quadruple left in the Hotel Garibaldi for €113. Convenient to lots of bars ...

Booked the Continental through booking.com myself, took payment as expected on the day for free cancellation booking. I may have slipped through the cracks

on the continental hotel, the issues are with booking.com.
it's very suspicious that your cancelations were on the day they validate the credit cards used for bookings with free cancelations.

Yes, very disappointed in the Continental's antics as I have stayed there in the past, and found it perfect for Connacht Rugby trips, i.e. perfect location, good price, comfy/clean room and a good shower.
Will not be recommending this hotel to anyone interested in traveling to Treviso.
Bad form them only cancelling a couple of days before we travel. Booked it 2 months ago as well.....

My best information is that Sky Italia are the rights holders for H Cup in Italy if that helps. Good beer selection in the Celtic Pub (well there was last time I was there pre pandemic). It's very handy to the two hotels which is a big selling point.

Interesting to note that for future reference what the Continental did, not good.

Actually it was the Continental, the feckers. Obviously they oversold and screwed people that booked through Boking.com
Got another spot, decent ratings but much further outside town.

Not sure if the Celtic are showing the matches, Not a big fan of the pub TBH, didn't feel the gra when we were there last year.

For those about Friday a bit earlier, there will be a few having a beverage or two in Padova/Padua in the early evening. Provisional plan is Birrone Padova on via Trieste at about 6. If you haven't been to Padova, it's well worth a look and there are trains to Treviso until after 11 with the possibility of a pub crawl stop in Mestre on the way (or be sensible and head straight back after dinner).

Sure if needs must, one of us can help pour the beer
