Crap... I spent the last 45 minutes hacking the internal joomla templates to try to get this to work and then I realised that I have a FF plugin that prevents sites from using my bandwidth to automatically load content from social networks, advertisers and stuff! Turned it off and it worked. The annoying thing is that it might have been working since last night without any need for me to go all hardcore on the site!

Anyway twitter integration working again.

I was looking at that before the match S_P. It appears that twitter have been changing their APIs and now want people to access it via their own mechanism. I've been trying to get it to appear on the site as I want but haven't figured it out just yet.

Anyone able to figure out why the Twitter feed doesn't work?

I made a few small changes to the site:

• On the home page there is now a section for "Latest Posts from the Clan Forum" that lists the last few topics posted to. If you hover over you get a preview of the first few lines of the post and you can click into it to take you to the forum.
• There is also links to the latest articles on the Connacht Rugby site.
• On the news articles I added the Facebook/Google/Twitter buttons. Feel free to click the bejaysus out of those if you're into that kind of thing.

This should mean that you can now access nearly everything you need from the homepage, so you won't miss a new article because you went straight to the forum.

Let me know if anything isn't working or if you don't like any of it or have any other ideas for things to add ...
