You are right, if you attend every game then there is a significant cost saving.
Personally i don't get to attend every game, usually miss 1 or 2 in the season (and i'm not counting the pre-season games) and these cancel out the cost savings so i don't base my decision to purchase a season ticket on the basis of savings over single match purchasing. Being a forgetful clot i have only used the drinks vouchers once! but there isn't a lot Connacht Rugby can do about that
So taking that into consideration, this year my ST benefits were, 3 Free drinks, Daft autograph book and a guaranteed entry to the Clan stand, oh and 10% discount on gear.
These are just my own considerations in ST purchase and i am in no way saying this would be the situation for everyone.

I cant imagine many people paying extra for the upgrade.
Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Also, while it would be great, I don't see branch feeding us in the Pavilion - would be a major disincentive to the businesses selling food around the SportsGround
Then again it may work out that Connacht make a lot more money from selling it to us directly. Besides that would only be for the "upgrades"... the plebs will still need to eat.

I realise that there are capacity concerns and you can't essentially sell the same seat/spot twice but I think we can come up with some kind of creative solution. Also, indoctrinating people to the full Clan Terrace experience is a better way to convert them into ST holders, IMO.

I would say, in order
1. Season ticket holders should get priority purchasing for extra tickets or away tickets, Not looking for discounts just that ST get access to purchase maybe one week before they go on general sale.
2. As other have said, alternate hat\scarf every other year, they should be exclusive too! no point getting a gift if you could have bought it yourself!.
If these two things were in place i'd be more than happy. I have my own views on the kick-off times\days but there's no way your ever going to suit everyone so i don't see a point in making a fuss.
I don't really feel that the ST at the minute have any advantages over buying on the night, perhaps the only advantage is we don't have to scramble to get into the Clan terrace for big games but thats about it.

- Announce the matchday ticket prices before or at the same time as starting season ticket sales, so people will know what they're saving. Also give some indication of what the normal kick-off time is going to be.
- If we are sticking with 5pm Saturday kickoffs, consider the option of a ST that includes food in the pavilion after the game. I often leave just because I'm hungry! Nothing fancy, just a burger or a curry or whatever. I'd pay €300 if my ticket included the current upgrade benefits plus 8 dinners. Plus I'd pay for more pints.

I suggested this to the branch last season!! It's an easy way of promoting Connacht. Agree with scarf or hat alternate seasons, always handy and easily lost. Also want to see Connacht CAR flags. As for 'ladies!!' day, it's a good few years since they last had one (wanted refund on ST cos i could have got in free

Had forgetten/never knew that they were sponsors. Might be do-able in that case.pinky wrote: Citylink are sponsors now, so I would not expect Connacht to be paying for this. If necessary, it could cost a bit extra for a season ticket with bus included. I don't see the point of having a sponsorship deal with a transport company if they're not going to provide transport.

Diom wrote: 5) Citylink Free: That would wipe out the price of the ST altogether. It's a tenner for a bus ride (guessing), and if Connacht are paying that out of their own pocket then they'd probably be losing money on it.

A bar coded branch issued( in conjunction with supporters club) loyalty/ membership card. This is for non season ticket holders who attend games. They purchase a mstchdsy ticket and swipe card also on entry. After say 4 paid visits they are entitled to free entry to the next cat b game. It would act as s stepping stone or bridge to becoming a season ticket and holders imo should be exempt from the surcharge.
It could be issued in conjunction with clan membership fee. Instead of 20 euro fee is 25 euro and you receive the card.
