Not sure what your point is. He got 11 starts (9 at number 12, 2 at 13) and 5 sub appearances for Sale in Premiership and Amlin Cup last year. He'd have done well to get any more than that here.

It's a positive bit of news alright, we've a small squad in terms of quality. Couple of injuries here or there really cripple us...

This gives us a lot more flexibility and options in the backs now, the problem is we still haven't settled on our best 9-15.

Yes 10 or both centre positions, primarily centre though

I think it's a good signing. He can play a few position at once and I for one was sickened when he didn't come to us a few years ago. This is only a positive!
