The application is up on the City Council's planning website here , file reference 18402.
However, it was only received on 7th December and is still in the pre-validation stage so there doesn't seem to be any documents attached to it just yet.
You would usually be able to view application documents by clicking the "View Scanned Files" button.
I imagine they will get around to this eventually but probably not before Christmas!

Hope you're right! moving from 12 K to 15 K is a big big move with temporary stands...

And no real other change to the ground itself for another two and a half seasons.
It sounds as if nothing would be happening, but the planning process itself will be a slow and arduous task. there will prob be a few objections and this always slows down the process.
This plan allows for the pitch to be upgraded and while this is being done the planning process will be finalised allowing a clear run at the main development.
Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

At the public consultation I was chatting to someone from the branch who said the plan was to play ours games at the sportsground for the duration of the redevelopment.

superconnacht7 wrote: Have ye seen your new survey with regard to the use of public transport (as opposed to the car)? IMO it would be very beneficial to close off College Road entirely to the car, should only be used for taxi, bus & tram. It is getting very dangerous on match days having cars flying through here plus alot of gardai resources!
It went into my promotions folder on gmail, so thanks for highlighting it. I think some effort should be put into co-coordinating trains from Athenry/Oranmore on match days. It's only a 9 minute journey from Oranmore in particular, so it would make sense for people to park and ride from there.
