Wasn't the Spanish team that pulled out constituted in exactly the same way?

I think its a kick ass idea! Argentina have Pampas XV playing in the Vodafone Cup so why shouldn't we have something similar in Europe with Portugal etc? Would add to the Amlin as well and stop the amateur teams being beaten off the park.

Apparently the Portuguese union have applied to the erc to replace the Spanish team who pulled out of the Hamlin with a Portuguese xv made up of the best players from their league. It would be based in Lisbon university and they are currently running a competition among marketing and design students to come up with a name, logo and kit for the team.

This could spice up debate re hec going forward. Esp if georgians, Romanians and Russians are of a mind to do same.

Guys

Still some HC tickets available on Ticketmaster.

Managed to get 10 in the same block for group of mates coming over from Cardiff for the weekend.

I have a similar plan.

Anyone heard of any HC final tickets going the next day? I'd imagine that a lot of Munster heads had tickets that they are now trying to offload.

Got my ticket at the weekend. Hope there's a decent Connacht crowd there. I plan to get drunk, go to the game, and cheer on the Cows. Cant follow up the words "Come on" with "Leinster". I'd be sick

Hi all

To be upfront about it I'm here looking for a knight in shining armour who may be able to help me out in securing 2 Amlin Final tickets for next Friday! I'm a Leinster season ticket holder myself and my normal partner in crime each week at the games is from Connacht and she'll be wearing the green jersey next Friday! The two tickets will go to a Mayo man who shall also be wearing the green with pride and a Dublin lass in blue.

Please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeease can anyone help?

Thanks!

It has the makings of a tricky one for Leinster with all the old boys coming back and a Stade team as massive underdogs, they have won away at Bath and Perpignan so they definitely want this one. Also prior to the couple of tries before half time last Saturday Leinster were under the cosh a bit at 10-9, if they'd gone in a 10-9 it would have been a completely different game.

I'll be surprised if Leinster don't win but they need to be fully focused.

But yes, in all seriousness, I think Leinster will win but it won't be the canter the semi-final suggests. But twice bitten three times shy at this rate and they're professional and smart enough to know nothing but 100% concentration and precision from them will give SF all they need to pull off a win.

For sure they have the tools to do the job, and comfortably. But it's a final and as a LFC supporter I'm still getting over Aldo fluffing a penalty leading to us losing to the Crazy Gang...

No chance, I was in Cardiff two years ago for the Leinster / Saints final and met Parisse and some of his teammates at the ERC Village the day after they blew the Amlin Final against Quins. They were gutted, absolutely gutted when I was talking to them.

If Leinster think it's be a cakewalk then there's every chance they could get turned over. Remember that Ospreys have turned them over twice at the RDS in the last three seasons in Rabo Playoff Finals...

If I was Joe Schmidt I would be reminding them of that this morning, to get their focus back on..

+1

Fantastic match. Leinster were immense and Biarritz looked shell-shocked. Heaslip guarantees his Lions place and a few other boys put there hands up.
