The teams listed above we will play home and away
Ah yeah I get that. I'd say the marketing lads are delighted with it though

I think the teams suggested are good for ticket sales , I think the teams in other conference are better for points ! Hopefully we get Leinster at home !
Well definitely get Leinster at home if one of the proposed systems is implemented. Where we'll play an extra 2 rounds of interpros on top of the other matches

Im happy with that! If it has to be confrences, there is a bunch of good matches in the sportsground there!

If you sum the league positions of the two pools you get 38 for ours and 40 for the other, and the median position is 6.5 for us and 7 for them. So I'd agree our pool is harder, but only marginally, and I don't know if the pools could have been assigned more equitably.

Alleged conferpoolision: Munster, Ospreys, Glasgow, Kings, Connacht, Cardiff Blues and Zebre
If we assume previously leaked structure and also assume that the SA teams won't be eligible for Europe then there's a good chance that Connacht would be fighting it out with Blues for a playoff for the seventh Euro spot (against the better of Dragons/Edinburgh).
If that was the case, Blues would have an advantage given one of their extra derbies would be against Dragons, whereas Connacht's would be against Leinster and Ulster.
(And as for sneaking ahead of Glasgow with their three games against Edinburgh ... hmmm).

The 402 from Shangort Rd to Merlin Park gives up very few secrets.
looking at the groups if they are to be taken as what they are as i find it difficult to see it but our side seems quiet difficult and I can see us struggling to make the top 3.

Because it's absolutely dominated by soccer, even more than Glasgow. You need schools and clubs to feed into a pro team and outside the big internationals Rugby struggles to sell in Rome.

connachta wrote: Zebre have announced that they intend to withdraw from the Guinness PRO12.
The Italian Rugby Federation have released a statement confirming they have been informed by the club of the news.
The FIR say they remain committed to having two Italian sides in next year's competition and are meeting today to discuss the next step.
Zebre entered the PRO12 in 2012 but have finished in the bottom two every season.
The format for next year's competition is yet to be determined, due to the possible inclusion of two South African sides.
Same stadium, same players, new league position (14th instead of 12th).
All this is is Zebroni Mk. 2 (the Zebre holding company which has been insolvent for months) being replaced by Mk. 3 (a new FIR holding company for Zebre). Stick around for Mk. 4 when they move to Rome next year. More rebrands than Yahoo.
