Okay lads,tickets.ie seems to have imploaded....I gave up after an hour trying.I am presently in line at the Sportsgrounds past 30 mins with 50 ahead of me and as many behind me...Eoin at desk probably heading for a melt down too...go easy on him.

What a season this is. The amazing league campaign, the European run, awards a plenty, and now we're crashing ticketing websites. Exciting times to be a Connacht supporter.

I didn't get any email but that is not unusual. I did get a reference number though, even seat numbers..... So I would not be too confident about your transaction if you did not get any reference number.
They must be dodgy servers alright. It's not as if we are lining up for Garth Brooks tickets.

Diom, exact same thing happened me. Money gone from my account too. on to tickets.ie support as I type we'll see what comes out of it.

Don't bother trying to phone, I just spoke to someone, she said they're not doing phone sales as they can only process 1 order at a time and 'the queue is out the door here'. She gave me the tickets.ie no. 399977 but good luck getting any sort of answer from that lot, I've been trying them since 9am. She said someone is working on the sales portal to try to get it up and running asap.
Looks like the best bet for anyone who's in Galway and has the time is to get down to the Sportsground and get into that queue!

Just tested could I buy again and it said no so at least that's working ok..
Now officially excited..

I got my ticket on Saturday, but those of you trying to hit the site, can you not buy them from the branch by calling them?
