aertv.ie, or if that is geo-blocked you might be able to unblock it with either a proxy or the hola add on.

McFadden in at 13 with Fitzgerald on the wing. Interesting. I wonder could this be an audition for McFadden for next season when BOD goes? Makes more sense to me having him at 13 then the talented but fragile Fitzgerald.

There could be a clause in that stating he is allowed look after the world cup or something of that ilk you never know. It gives him security which is what he wanted. Provided he stays fit he'll be Leinster captain next year and maybe the Irish Captain after POC goes.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about it from that angle. My understanding is that players generally want longer deals for fear of injury or drop in form. From his perspective, that would seem like the more sensible approach, rather than gambling on still being a hot commodity after the world cup.

3 being the most important character in that sentence. I'd imagine Heaslip pushed for that, to counteract the difference in yearly salary. I hope they didn't break the bank on him, because I really don't think he's worth it.

Leinster have been good without being great for most of the past season and a half, but I wouldn't rule them out just yet. They still have the players to lift their game for the business end of the season and Toulon have not exactly been world beaters themselves. If they find themselves in Dublin for a semi-final I wouldn't bet against them.

He does everything, Tackle carry and top class in the tight. Great if he can stay fit for the 6 nations. He had Jones in a hoop early in the game last week.

Big time. He just refuses to be stopped when he gets up a head of steam. Hopefully he can bring that form to the 6 nations.

McCarthy had 21 stitches for his troubles.
Leinster werent their best. I'd hate to say it but it was Bod's worst game Ive seen him play. And that against a poor enough centre pairing.
As often happens with Leinster when they get ahead. They stopped working as a team and going through the phases. There were players having a cut themselves and the moves ended.
The handling and finishing were gash.
Thats said they won without any major injuries. I'd be thinking they could be better after the 6 nations and a few weeks in Camp with Joe.

Not sure what to make of it but I don't think Leinster have much chance of silverware this year.

Only saw the second half, but agree that they were very poor. Ospreys were actually down to 13 for a little while too, as both their hookers were injured, but one came back on eventually. Considering they struggled badly to beat us a couple of weeks ago too, it's hard to see them going all the way, but they've a bit of time now to get things right. I'd love to see the Irish teams win, and we'd have both semis in Ireland (assume the Aviva), which would be class.

Not always easy to play well against 14 for a full match as we well know. Players afraid to get injured or make mistakes so close to the 6n. McCarthys face looked bad and with something like that he might not recover in time for Ireland.
