Hope things pan out well for him one way or another.
In agreement with Sea_Point,but hard to know what level he can realistically play at.
Still a hell of a lot of training for any AIL division, and the transition from Pro to Junior/Amateur may not work out for various reasons.

Don't like to see any young player being forced to quit early, hopefully it is just an end to his elite career and that he is not lost to the game entirely. Would like to see guys set on pro careers enjoy the more sociable version (amateur club) before they stop playing altogether...

Academy graduates Darren Hudson, Ben Marshall, Martin Moore, Jordi Murphy, Jack O'Connell and Noel Reid have all signed their first professional contracts with the Leinster senior team, while eight players will also be entering the third and final year of their respective Academy programme.
In all there are six additions to the panel for the forthcoming season: Old Belvedere and Ireland Under-20 out-half Steve Crosbie will be joined by centre Thomas Daly (Ireland Under-20) as well as loose-head prop Peter Dooley who hails from Birr, Co. Offaly.
St. Michael's College SCT captain and Ireland Under-19 second row Ross Molony is joined by another Schools player, Terenure College full-back and Ireland Under-18 Schools international Billy Dardis.
Ex CBS Naas and current UCD back three player Adam Byrne, who featured in the recent British & Irish Cup semi-final at outside centre, joined the Academy in January and he will start his Academy programme.
Incoming trio Byrne (UCD), Daly and Dooley (both Lansdowne) are all following strong campaigns with their respective clubs and are all products of the Leinster Youths system.
Following a lengthy injury, Sam Coghlan-Murray has also extended his stay in the Academy by a year. Unfortunately David Doyle has had to retire from the Academy due to an on-going injury.
The Academy programme is set out over three years where all of the players will aim to ultimately earn a professional contract. Amongst the most recent graduates are Andrew Conway, Brendan Macken and Jack McGrath who have all gone on to feature for the Senior side of late.
Other past graduates from the Leinster Academy system include the likes of Ireland internationals Ian Madigan, Fergus McFadden, Kevin McLaughlin, Sean O'Brien, Rhys Ruddock, Jonathan Sexton and Devin Toner.
In addition to each Academy player's third level commitments, they will also complete a supplementary HETAC (Higher Education & Training Awards Council) course covering modules such as Rugby, Community, Fitness, Psychology, Lifestyle and Media.
Academy Manager Girvan Dempsey oversees the day-to-day running of the Academy.
Leinster Academy 2013/14:
Year 1: Adam Byrne, Steve Crosbie, Thomas Daly, Billy Dardis, Peter Dooley, Ross Molony
Year 2: Bryan Byrne, Ed Byrne, Tadhg Beirne, Jack Conan, Dan Leavy, Cathal Marsh, Gavin Thornbury, Josh van der Flier
Year 3: Andrew Boyle, Jordan Coghlan, Sam Coghlan-Murray, Tadhg Furlong, Conor Gilsenan, Luke McGrath, Colm O'Shea, James Tracy

For some reason, Leinster have always struggled on Saturday nights, even last week vs.Biarritz, it wasn't that full. Friday nights are always best as people either go from work or wait in town. sat afternoons are always ok, but Sat nights always have been poor. Normally, I go down, but in the interest of domestic harmony, I felt two Sat nights in a row was pushing it.
Ross O'CK claims that the real Leinster starts at Kiely's and ends at Foxrock church, maybe on Sat nights he is right.
Btw, Gauzere is French and a regular on Top 14. I thought he got in the way of a lot of the Glasgow moves....though he could be forgiven as Matawalu ran crazy lines - an extraordinary player, fantastic.

Leinster got a couple of fortuitous decisions to help them along and Glasgow played some excellent stuff, they really are dangerous from anywhere on the pitch and if they can hold on to Townsend and add a couple of players up front should be able to make a better fist of the Heineken and continue to push for silverware in the Rabo in the next few seasons which is excellent news for the league given the degree to which the Welsh teams and others are struggling.
However, Leinster got the deal done and that's a major step towards the double. In terms of the crowd, Leinster fans were making excuses about exams and so forth but I don't think any institution has exams on a Saturday evening. Don't know what the pricing was like and whether that kept some people away. They generally have a good supporter base in recent years so its strange especially with so many looking for Amlin tickets. Tonight was a bigger & tougher game than next Friday will be for Leinster imo.

Hope and pray that tonight has not taken too much out of Leinster at the end of a tough season.
Leinster will need to be at full strength to beat Stade, and get us back into the HC
Joe Schmidt said in the post match interview that it was a back spasm that forced BOD off. Hope that is all.
After tonight game and the effort of the Amlin final next week, I think I will put a few notes on Ulster to take the RABO.

What the deal here, are they all gone to Beyonce or out on the bay in the yacht this sunny day?
20mins, BOD off injured, 3-7 and glasgow were held up for another try.
